Assist in arranging library activities, events and publications for the promotion of Library services and collections as well as coordinating building projects and various Library projects with different parties within and outside the University; prepare documentation (such as meeting notes, project proposals and reports); and perform any other duties as assigned.
A good honours degree (preferably in Language/Linguistics/Communication Studies or related disciplines) with at least 3 years’ working experience, preferably in tertiary education institutions. Excellent command of English and Chinese (including Putonghua); strong coordination, analytical and interpersonal skills are required. Good knowledge of and software skills in webpage and desktop publishing are preferred. Candidates with more than 7 years’ relevant experience may be considered for appointment as Executive Officer I.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a written test.
Remuneration package will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Initial appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract; fringe benefits include gratuity, leave, medical and dental schemes.
