Manager (Research Partnership Development) in the Office of the Vice-President (Research and Technology) [Ref. B/104/09]

 

Duties

Reporting to the Vice-President (Research and Technology), the appointee is responsible for developing research partnership and establishing network with appropriate research institutes, laboratories, government officials and industrial partners.  S/he will incubate and facilitate major large-scale interdisciplinary projects and centres.

 

Requirements

A Master's degree/good honours degree with at least 10 years' extensive experience in dealing with organizations/institutions.  Broad network with professional bodies, governments and industrial association is preferred.  Competence in strategic thinking and planning, excellent interpersonal skills, and good command of written and spoken English and Chinese are required.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a written test.


Salary and Conditions of Service

Remuneration package will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience.  Initial appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract; fringe benefits include gratuity, leave, medical and dental schemes, and housing benefits (where applicable).
