Temporary Clerical Officer I/II (Treasury Unit) in the Finance Office [Ref. A/R/973/09]


Duties

The appointee will be responsible for the provision of clerical support in the Treasury Unit.  Duties include to:

  1. Perform duties in the area of accounts payable;
  2. Handle enquiries from suppliers and related parties;
  3. Prepare monthly supporting schedules/bank reconciliation; and
  4. Perform any other assignments.




Requirements

5 passes in HKCEE/HKDSEE including English Language, Chinese Language and Mathematics, with LCC Intermediate level in Accounting or equivalent and at least 2 years’ relevant working experience.  Excellent PC skills (including MS Word and Excel), good communication and interpersonal skills, and being hardworking and accountable are required.  Experience in Oracle Financials would be an advantage.

Candidates with more than 6 years’ relevant working experience may be considered for appointment as Temporary Clerical Officer I.



Salary and Conditions of Service

Salary offered will be competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience.  Fringe benefits include leave, medical and dental consultations at the campus clinic.
