Temporary Clerical Officer II in the Department of Mathematics (Appointment for 6 months) [Ref. A/R/1038/09]

 

Duties

Provide clerical support to the Department (including programme administration, organization of departmental activities); assist in daily office operation; and perform any other duties as assigned.

Requirements

5 passes in HKCEE/HKDSEE including English Language, Chinese Language and Mathematics with at least 2 years’ working experience.  An Associate Degree/Higher Diploma is preferred. Good command of English and Chinese (including Putonghua) and proficiency in using MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access) and Chinese word-processing are required.  Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment, good communication and interpersonal skills, strong sense of responsibility and a service-oriented disposition are preferred.  Relevant working experience would be an advantage.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a written test.

Salary and Conditions of Service

Salary offered will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience.  Fringe benefits include leave, medical and dental consultations at the campus clinic.
