Clerical Officer I/II in the Research Grants and Contracts Office [Ref. A/444/09]

Duties

Provide clerical support for research administration, compilation of statistics, general office administration; and perform any other duties as assigned.

Requirements

A Bachelor’s degree in any disciplines with 2 year’s working experience.  Good communication skills in English and Chinese (including Putonghua); and ability to work with numbers and statistics compilation are required.  Previous working experience in research grants administration/support is preferred. 

Candidates with more than 6 years’ working experience may be considered for appointment as Clerical Officer I.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a written test.

Salary and Conditions of Service

Remuneration package will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience.  Initial appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract; fringe benefits include gratuity, leave, medical and dental schemes.
