Clerical Officer I/II in the Department of Biomedical Engineering [Ref. A/320/09]

 

Duties

Provide administrative support to the department (including timetabling; handling student assessment and examination-related matters; assistance in procurement, payments and office maintenance; providing support for undergraduate and taught postgraduate student admission, and student activities such as internship, scholarships, competitions, and study tours, etc.) and perform any other duties as assigned.

Requirements

5 passes in HKCEE/HKDSE including English Language, Chinese Language and Mathematics with at least 2 years’ relevant working experience.  Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua); being self-motivated; and attention to details are required. 

Candidates with more than 6 years’ post-qualification experience may be considered for appointment as Clerical Officer I.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a written test.

Salary and Conditions of Service

Remuneration package will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience.  Initial appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract; fringe benefits include gratuity, leave, medical and dental schemes.
