Provide administrative support to the Centre; assist in the submission of research reports, organization of the Centre’s meetings, conferences and activities; and perform any other duties as assigned.
A good honours degree with at least 2 years’ relevant post-qualification experience. Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua); effective interpersonal skills, strong sense of responsibility with initiatives; ability to work independently, flexibly and collegially are required. Sound knowledge of office software applications (including word-processing, spreadsheet, database, presentation tools, email, web design and management) is essential. Candidates with lower academic qualifications (5 passes in HKCEE/HKDSEE including English Language, Chinese Language and Mathematics) and at least 6 years’ relevant experience will be considered for appointment as Clerical Officer I.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a written test.
Remuneration package will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Initial appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract; fringe benefits include gratuity, leave, medical and dental schemes.
