Instructor I/II in the School of Continuing and Professional Education [Ref. C/665/09]

Applications are invited for the above posts:

Duties

  1. Oversee quality delivery of programmes (including ERB courses offered by the School) in the areas of Emerging Technology, Project Management, Marketing and Business Administration;
  2. Undertake teaching, programme management and development;
  3. Coordinate work placements and supervise student projects; and
  4. Perform any other duties as assigned.


Working on weekends and/or evenings may be required.


Requirements

A Master’s degree in Business Administration/Information Technology/Statistics/Mathematics or related disciplines.  Possession of a PhD/doctorate degree would be an advantage.  Proven record of teaching at the undergraduate or sub-degree level is required.  Good connection with professional bodies and experience in academic accreditation are preferred.

Candidates with 4 years’ appropriate full-time postgraduate teaching experience may be considered for appointment as Instructor I.

Salary and Conditions of Service

The remuneration package will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience.  Fringe benefits include gratuity, leave, medical and dental schemes.  The appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract.
