Contribute to education (including teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses, developing relevant curriculum, supervising students under internship/research projects, and managing student activities and academic programme) in the areas of (a) Social Work and/or (b) Criminology; actively engage in research and promote/participate in cross/interdisciplinary research; and contribute to departmental administration and knowledge transfer.
A PhD in Social Work/Criminology or related disciplines. Candidates are expected to have a strong track record in research and publications in their specialized fields. Preference will be given to those who are able to teach both disciplines.
For area (a), a recognized professional qualification and relevant experience in Chinese communities are also required.
Remuneration package will be driven by market competitiveness and individual performance. Excellent fringe benefits include gratuity, leave, medical and dental schemes, and relocation assistance (where applicable). Initial appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract.
