Contribute to teaching and teaching-related activities in public administration and public management at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. The appointee is also expected to be an active researcher and contribute to the broader intellectual project of the Department in terms of publications, seminars, workshops and research proposals.
A PhD in related disciplines with ability to teach and conduct research in one or more of the following areas: public management, public administration, housing studies, and urban studies. Evidence of teaching ability including student evaluations and proven ability to produce high quality publications, good knowledge of Hong Kong housing and housing policy are required. For appointment at Associate Professor level, a substantial track record of published research in internationally recognized outlets is expected. A professional qualification in housing or related disciplines would be an advantage.
