Graduate Teaching Assistants in the Department of Economics and Finance (Appointment for 12 months) [Ref. B/R/835/09]

 

Duties

Assist in teaching or teaching-related duties which include conducting tutorial sessions, assessing and helping grade student assignments and projects, assisting in discovery-driven initiatives, supporting course administration and development of teaching materials; and assist in student development services (e.g. co-curricular learning activities, student exchange, internship, student career development, company visits, career seminars, alumni networking and relationships).

Requirements

A Master's degree/good honours degree in Economics/Finance.  Good command of written and spoken English, familiarity with teaching, ability to work independently, willingness to help, and active learning attitude are required. Teaching background and experience in conducting research are preferred.

Salary and Conditions of Service

Salary offered will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience.  Fringe benefits include leave, medical and dental consultations at the campus clinic.
