The School of Law has three goals: becoming a world renowned centre for research and teaching of law; equipping students with global knowledge, skills and perspectives; and establishing a trusted relationship with local and international legal establishments. The School has also developed special programmes for judges from Mainland China, including LLM and JSD programmes. These appointments are part of a strategy to enhance the School's research performance. It is the School's goal to provide quality legal education for students and to broaden their horizons. The School offers a broad range of degree programmes: LLB, JD, LLMArbDR, LLM, JSD and PCLL.
The appointees will be involved in teaching Family Law and Practice and/or Drafting and Advocacy (in Chinese) courses in the PCLL programme. Duties may be carried out during daytime or in the evening.
A good honours degree or an equivalent qualification plus substantial experience as a barrister/solicitor in related disciplines. Commitment to professional legal education is required. Teaching experience at tertiary level is preferred.
Salary offered will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
