The Department of Physics at City University of Hong Kong was officially launched on July 1, 2017, which builds on the excellent tradition of the physics faculty in the former Department of Physics and Materials Science. In the 2014 Research Assessment Exercise conducted by the Research Grants Council of Hong Kong, CityU’s physics ranked 2nd amongst all eight universities in Hong Kong.

Candidates with different levels of experience are welcome, and the appointment will be made at a rank commensurate with the qualifications and experience.
