Student Residence

Living in the Student Residence is a good way to enhance self-management and interpersonal skills. Residence Masters, Residence Tutors and students live together as a community in the halls of residence. You will have opportunities to meet all kinds of people from many different cultures.

Serving and Learning

The Student Development Services organises various service learning projects that allow students to engage with the local community through voluntary service and community immersion activities.

The Chan Feng Men-ling Chan Shuk-lin Language Centre (LC) offers courses in Japanese, Korean, Spanish, French, German, Putonghua and Cantonese. Their English Language Mentoring Scheme (ELMS) provides an opportunity for English-speaking students to serve as mentors to support fellow students in their language development.

Get Involved

Global Ambassador Club (GAC) - GAC is a non-local student organization comprised of student leaders from diverse cultural backgrounds, who play a pivotal role in promoting internationalisation at CityU which aims to:

  • promote City University of Hong Kong (CityU) to the international communities around the world
  • organize activities to enhance internationalization on campus and integration between local and non-local students
  • serve as the bridge between non-local students and the University administration
  • liaise among non-local student clubs/societies/associations to promote participation of non-local students in campus life
