Description

Facilities Management Office is responsible for the provision of cleaning services in the University campus, staff residential quarters' and student hostel which covers all the public areas, offices, toilets and changing rooms, carparks etc. Apart from providing general cleaning services such as empty rubbish receptacles, toilet cleaning, we also provide specialized cleaning services including carpet shampooing, pest control, disposal of industrial solid waste, waste classification and disposal of recycle wastes, cleaning of water tanks, air-conditioning filters, surface water catchment system, provision of room attendants for visitors' quarters, house keeping of classroom and communal area, disposal of confidential material and termite control. The Office closely administer a number of service contracts so as to ensure compliance of contractor's obligation in respect of manpower and quality of work. Regular inspection will be carried out to ensure a an acceptable cleaning standard are being maintained.
