Service
Description
Facilities
Management Office is responsible for the
management of various parking areas and
the traffic control of the University. We
are also responsible for the issuance of
campus and staff quarters parking permits
(except the student residence which is issued
by Student Residence Office), and visitors
parking coupons and the enforcement of the
parking regulations of the University. Furthermore,
we respond to department's requests for
special parking arrangement such as overnight
parking, reservation of car parking spaces
for visitors and collection the parking
fees.
During office hours in the weekdays, various
parking areas of the University are reserved
for the use of permit holders such as staff,
approved contractors, licensed operators
and University's visitors. After office
hours in the weekdays, and full day in weekends
and public holidays, the Covered Carpark
and Open Carpark are opened to all the staff
members and students.
Location
There are about 283 parking spaces in the
University campus for staff to park their
vehicles including the Covered Carpark,
the Open Carpark and parking spaces on campus
ground level. Also, there are around 200
parking spaces in various carparks of the
staff quarters and in the carpark of Phase
I Student Residence.

Note:
Carpark opening
hours :0700-2330 daily
Vehicles parked
in the carpark after opening hours will
be impounded and will only be released
after payment of the hourly parking fees
and the fees prescribed by the laws of
HKSAR.
Students of
"School of Continuing and Professional
Education" and "Pre-AD Programme" of the University are excluded.
All carpark
users are required to produce valid staff
ID or student ID and to sign on the log
sheet if he/she pays at the reduced rate.
Staff Quarters
Under normal circumstances, no service
charge for parking permit in staff quarters
is levied except for leased quarters. Monthly
parking fee of $2000 is charged for leased
quarters.
