Students wishing to participate in the Outbound Student Exchange Programme must comply with the following application procedures:
Step 1
Identify an exchange programme from the list of Partner Institutions at departmental, college, or institutional level that fits your study plan and interests.
Step 2
Login to the AIMS and print the Outbound Student
Exchange Application Form under the "Student Services". (You are strongly
encouraged to leave the "choice of institutions" blank until you have met with
your Departmental Exchange Coordinator. You can fill in other parts of
information and save it at the AIMS system for later use but before the
application round closes)
Step 3
Consult your Departmental Exchange Coordinator about the suitability
of your proposed exchange study and procedures relating to your
application.
Make a final decision on your choices of institutions and fill in
your choices in priorities on the hard copy of the application form.

Step 4
Submit
the completed hard copy of your application to your respective Department
by the stipulated deadline with the following documents:

the
Applicant Statement (a
statement
in not more 300 words explaining
why you wish to participate in the student exchange programme
and what do you expect to gain from it)

your
study plan (Please
discuss with your programme leader regarding credit transfer
arrangements and gets his or her approval and signature);
-
your academic transcript;
-
proof of language proficiency
such as TOEFL or IELTS result (If you do not have it by the
deadline, you can submit it later);
-
supporting documents to indicate
your achievements and participation in extra-curricular activities;
Step 5
Submit or finalize your
online version at AIMS by the stipulated deadline. |
