The English Language Centre offers workshops to help students improve various English language skills. Workshop topics include:
Improve your Pronunciation
Improve your Vocabulary
Improve your Grammar
Improve your Essay Writing

Students who attend these workshops talk about their needs with regard to the particular skill and learn about:
The sub-skills involved in the skill
How to improve the skill
Resources available in the SAC and online

After active participation in a workshop, students should be familiar with their needs in relation to the skill and sub-skills, and should be able to select and find appropriate resources to practise the skill.

The ELC also offers workshops on special topics, such as job  applications or designing an effective English language e-portfolio, and lessons on demand, at the request of groups of at least four students.
