The English Language Centre has created some online learning resources that are available to all:

	Interactive Online Listening Assistant
	Podcasts for listening practice
	Booklets to help students prepare for IELTS and the Common Recruitments Examination (CRE) for the Hong Kong civil service
	SAC Links to some useful websites for students and teachers of English

The ELC has also created subject specific materials which can be accessed by anyone. These 12-hour self study packages have been written for the following departments:

	English for Basic Marketing
	English for Basic Sociology
	English for Building Science and Technology
	English for Asian Studies
	The resource Legal Analysis and Writing Skills (LAWS) is open to CityU laws students only.

CityU students also have access to Road to IELTS, which was written by British Council IELTS examiners and examiner trainers.
