Jenny has over twenty years of experience in the English Language Teaching profession. She has taught a variety of English for Specific Purposes courses and is currently teaching an English for Academic Purposes course which aims at enhancing students’ proficiency in reading and writing in an academic context.
Her professional interests include: learner strategies, materials development and independent learning.
Since September 2013 she has been a member of the English Language Support Suite team which is tasked with developing and promoting outside class learning opportunities for those who would like to improve their English. She is running workshops for the Writing Development Centre to help students become better writers, and is providing advising service at the Language Clinic to help students improve their writing.
