Self Access Workshops

The English Language Centre offers workshops to help students improve various English language skills. Workshop topics include:
  • Improve your Pronunciation I / II
  • Improve your Vocabulary
  • Improve your Grammar
  • Improve your Listening
  • Improve your Job Application Letter
  • Improve your CVs
  • Imporve your Interview Skills
Students who attend these workshops talk about their needs with regard to the particular skill and learn about:
  • The sub-skills involved in the skill
  • How to improve the skill
  • Resources available in the SAC and online

After active participation in a workshop, students should be familiar with their needs in relation to the skill and sub-skills, and should be able to select and find appropriate resources to practise the skill.
