Language Lounge

The English Language Centre’s Language Lounge provides a relaxing, English-speaking environment for students to practise their English.

Any CityU student can come to the Language Lounge to:

• Participate in practical language activities
• Use computer assisted language learning programmes
• Chat to teachers and other students
• Try out quiz questions and role plays
• Watch TV programmes and films
• Listen to songs and music
• Play board games
• Read magazines or surf the net

To make it easy for everyone speak English, everyone who uses the Language Lounge and other ELC facilities is required to speak only English.
