Outcomes Based Teaching & Learning for Students

OBTL, CityUCityU is in the process of turning the curriculum of every course and program into an outcomes based curriculum which is where the focus of teaching is on requiring students to engage in learning activities most likely to bring about the intended or desired outcomes. The focus is on student centered learning where the emphasis is what the student is doing rather than on what the teacher is doing with the aim being to enable everyone of our students to become our ideal graduate, a competent professional who combines rich professional knowledge with the broader skills and poise required for career success and leadership in the community.
