Introduction Welcome to the City University of Hong Kong's showcase of the finalists for the 2007-08 Teaching Excellence Awards. We will meet the finalists, students and their nominators. Through them we will see CityU's active dedication and promotion of the scholarship of teaching and learning.
The Teaching Excellence Awards is an annual event of the University to appraise the exemplary practices and overall enthusiasm of teaching. It is a great way to highlight the efforts of our teachers in nurturing CityU's ideal graduates. The finalists were chosen for their innovation, knowledge and care among many other characteristics. Now, let's meet the finalists. They will share their teaching philosophies, effective teaching practices and thoughts on the challenges facing students in the 21st century.
