Dr. Ron Kwok holds a Ph.D. degree in Information Systems from the City University of Hong Kong, a M.Sc. degree in Information Systems from the University of Brighton (UK), a B.Ed. degree in Education from the University of Liverpool (UK), and a certificate of education from the Northcote College of Education (HK). He was Assistant Professor in the School of Management at the State University of New York at Binghamton (US) before joining City University of Hong Kong in 2002. He received the Teaching Excellence Award (2005-06) from the City University of Hong Kong.
Dr. Kwok was ICIS doctoral consortium fellow (1998). He serves on the Editorial Review Board of the Journal of IT Case and Application Research (JITCAR). Dr. Kwok has also served as ad hoc reviewer for international journals such as MIS Quarterly, Group Decision and Negotiation, and a number of international conferences such as the International Conference on Information Systems (ICIS), and the Hawaii International Conference on System Sciences (HICSS).
