As an Education Development Officer, I enjoy promoting creative & pedagogical applications of information and communication technologies for teaching and learning. I have been one of the core members in the implementation of institutional wide e-Learning strategies at City University of Hong Kong since 1999. As a co-principal investigator of several ePortfolio projects funded by CityU’s Teaching Development Grant, I have been investigating and promoting the strategic use of ePortfolios for learning,
development, employability enhancement and professional development since 2005. It was also my
honour invited to be an adjudicator of the Hong Kong Primary and Secondary Student Electronic
Portfolio Competitions in 2009, 2010 and 2011. A paradigm shift of learning and education technology
is envisaged in which learners should be empowered and facilitated to self-direct their learning and
collaborate effectively with other facilitators and learners.
