Motivation is the internal impulse to take action. It is the feeling that compels you to do something.
Motivation overcomes laziness, procrastination, fear and indecisiveness.
In order to get motivated, you need to know exactly what it is that you want, to possess a strong desire, and to be willing to do whatever it takes to accomplish your goal.
I know what you mean but I can't recall how many times I started enthusiastically a weight loss programe ( I call it my Yoyo diet! ) only to stop after a few days. Same for language: I joined at least 3 beginner's French classes since I was in Form 5. What is my problem?
Don't worry! Few people possess enough dedication, strong willpower and self-discipline to go through to the end with what they begin but everything can be learned! Once again you need to set goals: short-term / mid-term and long term. Goal setting is extremely important to motivation and success.
