The PI plans to remodel and improve two introductory courses in SEEM by incorporating case studies, problem analyses and industrial visits to achieve the following four goals for his classes:

  1. Efficient impartation of knowledge;
  2. Assist students to fully understand knowledge and train them in critical thinking;
  3. Provide motivation by addressing the importance and value of the knowledge;
  4. Nurture active learning.
