Introduction

The EDGE Office oversees the administration of a number of education grants:

Funding TDG - Teaching Development Grant ERG - Education Research Grant OBTL - Outcomes Based Teaching & Learning Fund QEF - Quality Education Fund
Objective To encourage institutions to adopt innovative approaches to teaching, and improve the quality of the learning environment To strengthen the relationship between teaching and research and foster a culture of evidence based teaching To assess the outcomes of OBTL implementation To promote quality education within the ambit of basic education
