The GE Fair has been held since 2008/09 as part of institutional efforts in advising students for a transition to the new curriculum. Its major objectives are to provide guidance and advice to students for selecting suitable GE courses for their career and personal development, and to raise the overall awareness of the university community on the purpose and features of the GE programme in the years ahead.

Posters for the GE courses to be offered in Semester B 2011/12 are showcased in the exhibition. GE experts including GE course leaders and students who have taken GE courses are there to have face-to-face discussion with new students to provide guidance on course selection and stimulate their interest and curiosity in GE.
