GE Requirements

Students admitted into the existing 3-year bachelor degree programmes are required to take at least 3 credit units of GE courses from the Distributional Areas to satisfy the Out-Of-Discipline (OOD) requirement. On the other hand, students admitted into the programmes adopting early introduction of the 4-year degree curriculum (Table 1) in 2010/11 and 2011/12 will have to acquire a broadened GE curriculum as set out in Table 2.
