This session aimed at identifying common features and key implementation principles of Gateway Education Programmes (GEPs), designing learning outcomes, activities, and assessments for a GE course, and examining the role of interdisciplinarity in GEPs. The learning experiences had to align with the course goals, assessments engagements of the students in active learning. Participants left the workshop with tools and resources to help them design new GE courses.
