22.9.2017 Dr Siu Kar-cheung, Chairman of Kaiping Cuishanhu Chamber of Commerce, and Ms Feng Xiao-yan, Chairlady of Kaiping Female Entrepreneur Association, led the delegations of 52 members to visit CityU on 22 September 2017. The delegation received an update on the university development and visited the Run Run Shaw Library, Gateway Education Laboratory, CLP Power Low Carbon Energy Education Centre and “Sincerely Yours: Personal Letters of Tsinghua Scholars” Exhibition. The exchange was brought about by Dr John Chan Chun-tung, Co-Convenor of Steering Committee of CityU Industrial and Business Leaders Circle, and Dr Wendy Cheng of Federation of Hong Kong Industries, to facilitate future collaborations between CityU and the two organizations.[Photo Album]

19.8.2017A delegation of 78 members from the Lions Clubs International District 303 Hong Kong & Macau, China (Lions Clubs), led by its District Governor Mr Douglas L.T. Chan, visited CityU on 19 August 2017. Professor Matthew Lee, Vice-President (Development and External Relations), extended his warm welcome to Lions delegates. The delegation was briefed on the University latest development and student programmes including City-Youth Empowerment Project and internship schemes. Professor Lee was delighted that CityU shares the same vision and enthusiasm with Lions Clubs in nurturing outstanding talents for the benefit of the community and looked forward to collaborating closely with Lions Clubs in the future. The delegation visited the "Pure Land – Inside the Mogao Grottoes at Dunhuang" exhibition, toured the Omnimedia Digital Newsroom and 3D-TV Virtual Studio in the Department of Media and Communications.[Photo Album]
