Dr Stephen Chan is a veterinary consultant for the City University Aquatic Veterinary Ambulatory Services. He is responsible for performing disease outbreak investigations and consulting on disease control and prevention strategies for local fish farmers. He also works closely with the Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory on fish disease diagnoses.
Stephen is currently also working as a veterinary consultant at a Hong Kong fish farm which specialises in using indoor recirculating aquaculture systems (RAS) for culturing Giant Groupers. He also spent many years working closely with various local animal welfare organisations on their Trap-Neuter-Release (TNR) programmes.
Dr Stephen Chan obtained his veterinary degree from the University of Sydney (USYD) in 2006.
