  1. Japanese and Korean Courses

    • We have included some Japanese and Korean courses in the BALS programme (June 2005).
    • These courses are offered and managed by the Japanese and Korean Minor programmes (and other programmes), not by the BALS programme management.
    • These courses may be used to account for the 60 credits of the BALS programme. However, it should be noted that BALS students must have at least 45 credits from the three constituent specializations of CH, TI and LLT.
    • Students may work for a Japanese or Korean Minor (subject to regulations of the minor programmes) by taking these courses (15 to 21 credits).
    • These courses are all 3 credit units each.
