Objective

• Overseas incoming exchange students with outstanding academic performance may be provided with partial financial support to study at CSE for a semester.

Selection Criteria

Exchange students:

• Coming from our partner universities;
• With outstanding academic performance at their home universities; and
• Enrolled in an academic department of CSE.

The scholarships are awarded on a competitive and merit basis, and are subject to funding availability. Final decision rests with CSE.

Awards

• The award of scholarship ranges from one semester of free on-campus accommodation (double room occupancy) to a maximum of HK$10,000.
• Each student applying for this scholarship may obtain approval once only.

Requirements

Scholarship recipients are required to:

• Take at least 9 credits from courses offered by CSE departments in a single semester; and
• Submit a brief report (about 200 words, preferably with photos) describing their exchange experiences at CityU before returning home.

Failure to fulfill the credit requirement will result in the withdrawal of the scholarship.

Notification of Results

• All results will be notified in writing in mid-July for Semester A and in mid-November for Semester B.
• All awards will be released after add/drop period (i.e., about two weeks after the commencement of the semester).
