Software Applications Installed/Upgraded (Mid-December, 1994 to Mid-March, 1995)

ABAQUS 5.3 Sparc This is a general purpose finite element analysis product. It includes all analysis capabilities except nonlinear dynamic analysis using explicit time integration (provided in the ABAQUS/Explicit module). It also includes ABAQUS/Aqua module for performing wave loading, drag and buoyancy calculation to provide modelling of offshore piping or cable systems. The ABAQUS/94 is an interactive preprocessor providing complete geometry creation and mapped meshing tools for the analysis products. The ABAQUS/Post is the interactive postprocessor providing deformed configuration, contour, vector, time history and variable-variable plots and animation of results.
