Q. How can I make Eudora notify me of a newly arrived mail? wpe4F.jpg (3764 bytes)
A. When Eudora finds a newly arrived mail in your mailbox, it can play a sound to notify you. To do this, simply configure Eudora to the following settings:
  1. Select Tools > Options and a dialog box will appear.
  2. Select Getting Attention under Category on the left-hand side of the dialog box.
  3. Make sure that Play a sound has been checked.
  4. Finally, make sure that a sound card has been installed on the PC. Otherwise, you can just barely hear the sound.
Q. What is the difference between Bcc and Cc?
A. Cc stands for carbon copy, which means that anyone whose e-mail address appears after the Cc header will receive a copy of the message. The Cc header will also appear under the header of the received message.

Bcc stands for background carbon copy, which is similar to that of Cc except that the e-mail addresses of the recipients specified in this field will NOT appear in the received message header. Therefore, the recipients in the To or Cc fields will not know that a copy has been sent to the addresses specified in the Bcc field.
