Electrical Interruption in the CSC Computer Room

To facilitate the installation of central Uninterruptable Power Supply (UPS) inside the CSC Computer Room, the main electricity supply to the room will be disrupted between 6:30 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. on 19 January, 1999. The installation of the UPS is mandatory to overcome both scheduled and unscheduled electrical power suspension. Except for those software locally installed on a PC, access to software and services on student and staff networks as well as those provided by the central host computers will NOT be available during the above-mentioned period.
