Staff Phonebook on the Web

What is a quick and easy way to seek someone's contact information on campus? Of course the answer is the WEB way. The City University's Electronic Phonebook is now accessible on the Web via the url http://www.cityu.edu.hk/cgi-bin/webph. This phonebook can also be located on the CityU's Home Page where it says "Staff Phonebook" near the bottom of the page. There is also a temporary entry under "University News" and a hyperlink in "About CityU" page. For outsiders who would like to check out our staff's telephone directory, only unrestricted information like name, department and email will be disclosed.

At the present moment, the University's Electronic Phonebook only serves as an enquiry system. Its information is still being updated from the University Yellow Pages System on a daily basis. If you happen to be a new staff to the university and discovered that your name is not included in the web-based phonebook or that the information shown on the web is inaccurate, please contact your department's general office. There should be a dedicated person in each department responsible for updating its staff's contact information by choosing "University Yellow Pages Maintenance" on the CityU Network Menu.
