High Resolution Videos Available in CityVoD

Thanks to the latest de-interlacing and encoding method, we have included high resolution videos (the same as the resolution of DVD-Video) as one of our video encoding standards in CityVoD. In the past, it is difficult for users to watch clearly what is on the screen when they use their PCs to view the CityVoD files. However, with a high resolution video, users can from now on watch it clearly as if they were in the seminar room. Simply visit our CityVoD web page (select CityVoD under the box of Computing Services Centre in the e-Portal) and click on the high resolution version icon on the right of your desired video, and you can experience what this new standard can bring you. Please note that this version of video is available for on-campus machines only. For smooth playback, it also requires Pentium III 1GHz processor with at least 256 MB of system memory and RealPlayer 10 installed.
