Why does MS Outlook hang during downloading new mail? (for POP3 user only)

 

Workaround 1:

    Using WebMail or other IMAP client software to move out the concerned email from INBOX to other folder.
 

 

Workaround 2:

You can configure Outlook to avoid the problem.

1.  On "Tools" menu, click "Options...".

               

 

 

2.  Choose the "Other" tab.
3.  Click on the "Advanced Options...".

               


 

4.  Click "Add-In Manager...".

               
 

 

5.  Disable "Exchange Scan".
6.  Click "OK".
