Teaching at City University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong Baptist University, and Peking University HSBC Business School
Yuhong used to teach at the Department of Media and Communication at the City University of Hong Kong for seven years. Her teaching focus was on documentary production, especially relating to oral history documentary production. She is the initiator and instructor of the oral history documentary project entitled “Family Album”. A number of short films produced under this initiative have won multiple awards from some well-known documentary festivals. Yuhong was invited to give talks/lectures at Columbia University, Zhejiang University, Jilin University, Communication University of China, Chinese University of Hong Kong, Yale University, etc. She is the author of three books, including the oral history book of students’ short films collection: “My family Album” published by Zhejiang University Press in 2017.
Yuhong received Master’s degrees from Columbia University in NYC and Hiroshima University in Japan.
