Dr Kim Wins the New Researcher Award and Teaching Start-Up Grant
Dr Ki Joon Kim has received the 2018 New Researcher Award and Teaching Start-Up Grant recognising his distinguished research excellence and innovative teaching initiatives at CityU. The awards were established to emphasise the University’s commitment to creating an environment conducive to high quality research and teaching at an internationally competitive level. Dr Kim has published over 70 peer-reviewed research articles in various scholarly venues. His works have been cited nearly 1,000 times and featured in major international news outlets including TIME, NBC News, Fox News, the Guardian, and the Daily Mail. The findings and implications of his research have attracted global attention and have been cited as useful sources for studying the social and psychological outcomes of human–technology interaction.
