About 50 students and teachers from King Ling College visited the Department of Media and Communication (COM) on 26 November 2022. The Department Head Professor Yu-li Liu welcomed the students and introduced COM’s BA programs, faculty members, curriculum and learning opportunities to the students.

 

The students were guided to visit the Department’s omnimedia digital newsroom, advertising design and shooting studio, and 3D virtual TV studio. They were demonstrated how the COM students produced newscasts with the aid of the facilities and equipment. The students also had an opportunity to play the role of a TV news anchor and report news in front of a camera with the use of a virtual background. The high school students interacted with some of our COM BA students who shared their study experience in the field of media and communication.
