Political Information for Closed Minds: Examining the Effects of the Need for Cognitive Closure on Political Interest and News Consumption

On May 3, 2021, we held an online research seminar with Professor Patricia Moy of the University of Washington, who presented several of her studies focusing on the concept of Need for Cognitive Closure. The event was attended by more than 50 people and there was a lively Q&A session. Professor Moy is also a member of COM's Academic Advisory Committee.
