2016 Bachelor of Arts in Digital Television and Broadcasting (BATVB) Graduate

My studying days in the Department of Media and Communication went past in the blink of an eye, but the hard and soft skills I have learnt from lectures and assignments have brought me a good start for my career. Working as a Producer in the TV Division of Radio Television Hong Kong and then being promoted to the radio section, I have found various opportunities where I can put the techniques acquired in school to real practice, from news writing to photography, TV presentation to radio production, and with these skills, I am given more chances to develop and take up new roles at work.

Learning does not stop after graduation. Working in the media industry often reminds me to spare more time for any sudden changes, and reserving some time before the deadline allows me to fine-tune my work when better ideas come across my mind. Thus it is crucial to establish good time management in school. Furthermore, building up positive relationships with people in workplace and the mutual support can make work much easier and bring new opportunities. All in all, always love what you do and do your best, and that is where passion comes from.
