Associate of Business Administration (Global Logistics and Supply Chain Management) (at Telford Annex)

PROGRAMME AIMS

Upon successful completion of this programme, students will be able to:

Possess a broad-based business education with generic study and specialized knowledge and skills in logistics and supply chain management;
Equip with para-professional training in logistics and supply chain management;
Pursue further studies in related discipline and career advancement.

Graduates can continue their studies in a business-related degree programme, both locally and overseas. Graduates can apply for senior-year admission to BBA (Hons) programmes offered by City University of Hong Kong and both government-funded and self-financing business degree programmes offered by other local universities. For overseas universities, graduates can apply for admission to senior year of business degree programmes (which are offered either locally or in overseas countries), e.g. Curtin University of Technology, Macquarie University, De Montfort University, University of Hull, Edinburgh Napier University, Northumbria University, Oxford Brookes University, University of Portsmouth, etc. For details, please refer to the iPASS of HKSAR at http://www.ipass.gov.hk/eng/.
Graduates of this programme may find employment at the supervisory level in firms engaging in supply chain management, airport management, trade documentation handling and freight forwarding, etc.

The first year curriculum is designed to provide students with a firm foundation in business. Subject areas are: Marketing, Management, Financial Accounting, Information Management, Quantitative Analysis, Economics I and II, English Professional Communication Skills for Business and General Education.
The second year curriculum is designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills required for developing their career in logistics and supply chain management. Subjects are: Business Logistics, Global Supply Chain Management, International Purchasing and Supply Management etc.

E or above in either one of the following HKCEE/ HKALE AS/ HKALE subjects: Mathematics, Additional Mathematics, Pure Mathematics and Applied Mathematics, or equivalent
Level 2 or above in HKDSE Mathematics
