College Quality Assurance Committee
CCCU Quality Assurance Committee (CQAC) is tasked with promoting a quality culture within CCCU, and the coordination of external and internal quality audits.
Terms of Reference
- To promote and encourage the internalization of a quality culture in CCCU, which also contributes to the overall quality culture of the University;
- To formulate and recommend to the Academic Board appropriate quality assurance policies and procedures;
- To coordinate the preparation for academic quality audits undertaken by the appropriate bodies in Hong Kong;
- To undertake quality assurance audits for institutions interested in sending their students or graduates to CCCU;
- To appoint subcommittees, working parties and similar bodies for the purpose of discharging the duties of the Committee, and to approve the terms of reference and membership.
Constitution
Chairman:
- Vice-Principal (Academic)
Members:
- Chairman of CVMC or his/her nominee
- One member from each Division/Centre/Pre-AD appointed by CCCU Academic Board
- One member appointed by the University Quality Assurance Committee
- One member appointed by the Principal
- Two Associate Degree students nominated by CCCU Academic Board
Secretary:
- Secretary of Academic Board
Term of Office
The period of office of members shall be two years with the exception of student members whose term of office shall be one year.
