A University Award

CCCU associate degrees are awarded by the City University of Hong Kong (“CityU”). The College adopts the same stringent quality control used throughout CityU and the quality of its programme has been recognized by the Senate of CityU. No programme will be offered unless it has satisfied the requirements of a rigorous Quality Assurance assessment procedure. This ensures each programme has academic integrity, incorporates the most up-to-date materials and approaches, and sufficiently prepares students for further studies or employment.

Community College of City University

Carrying on with the long tradition of the City University of Hong Kong in the provision of quality sub-degree education since 1984, the Community College of City University (CCCU) is well recognized as a premier College in Hong Kong. Since its establishment in 2004, CCCU has played an increasingly important role in the self-financing sub-degree sector, offering a wide and expanding range of quality programmes, including Associate Degree (all CityU awards), Pre-Associate Degree and other educational programmes.

Served by nearly 200 well qualified and experienced staff, we are highly regarded for our rigorous quality assurance systems and for actively putting City University’s educational belief in whole person development into practice for the benefit of our population of over 6,000 students. Our students enjoy a holistic education through well-designed programmes, and rich co-curricular activities such as exchange programmes and student mentoring scheme. Through these activities, our students are able to broaden their mind and vision.

In all these years, the industry has given tremendous support to CCCU through advising the College on curriculum design and development, providing internship opportunities and supervising joint projects with them.
